Walt Disney World® (WDW) (not affiliated with, LLC) - Lake Buena Vista/Kissimmee/Celebration - (407)W-DISNEY or (407)824-4321 - it's exactly that, A WORLD, of many-varied entertainment experiences. WDW can be conceptually divided into 4 major theme parks:

The Magic Kingdom has attractions & live shows built around popular Disney stories & popular fantasy themes;

Perhaps our strength in covering WDW might be to mention what might possibly be some of WDW's lesser known attributes such as Downtown Disney®'s:

Copyright Jason Higley 2002, All rights reserved.Marina & Boat Rental - you'll find several different sized water-craft for rent that you can guide through lakes (including Lake Buena Vista) linked by canals. You'll see several diffent types of resorts and see a unique side of Disney. It's alot of fun. When it's busy they operate FREE water-shuttles which you can ride from one end of Downtown Disney to the other.

Magic Music Days Stage is an open-air (with seating) location featuring seasonal live perfomances by school groups and others from around the nation.

Disney Quest indoor Interactive Theme Park (where you'll find VR and other interactive gaming and electronic entertainment experiences.

It's excellent.

House of Blues™ (407)934-BLUE (2583) where you will find the very highest caliber popular entertainers from every music genre. See their site for the schedule, you'll be impressed with the top-acts that they book.

Wolfgang-Puck® (407)938-WOLF (9653), brought to you by the world famous chef of the same name. 4 dining options with The Express tray service, B's Lounge & Sushi Bar, The Cafe with full-service casual dining and upstairs there's the up-scale Wolfgang Puck "fusion-style" epicureanism, currently (checked Feb. '02) Executive Sous Chef Justin Plank is at the WDW location.

Planet Hollywood OrlandoPlanet Hollywood (general website covers all Planet Hollywoods) dine amongst numerous Hollywood props within an interesting-to-look-at globe.

Also there are several dozen Disney owned stores and other stores & concessions at Downtown Disney some of which are: Mickey's Groove Disney Shop, Disney's Candy Cauldron, Mouse House Disney apparel, SuperStar Studios record your own music, Missing Link fast food, DTV Disney merchandise shop, Suspended Animation which is a sales gallery of animation cels and art, Portobello Yacht Club featuring Italian cuisine, Reel Finds featuring Hollywood collectibles, Changing Attitudes featuring trendy sportswear, D-Zertz sweet shop, Cap'n Jacks Restaurant featuring crab-cakes, clam chowder, shrimp & ribs and even more stores there too!.

Pleasure Island (407)934-7639 requires paid admission after 7:00 p.m. (which is included in the Park Hopper® Plus and Ultimate Park Hopper passes) which has entertainment venues such as

You may also want to check out other attractions elsewhere on WDW property such as Disney's Wide World of Sports which hosts a very long list of a variety of sporting events. Or you may want to go to the Walt Disney World Speedway for the Richard Petty Experience where you can ride or drive a real race car. There are numerous resorts on the WDW property that cater to different economic target markets. Of course, the WDW complex is a must-see, and you could spend your entire vacation here and not see all of it (but don't miss the rest of Central Florida, if you have the time!)
